Face-lifts, tummy tucks and hair transplants could be hit with a new tax to help finance the trillion-dollar healthcare overhaul plan, CONGRESS DAILY reports. The Senate Finance Committee has discussed imposing a 10% excise tax on cosmetic surgery deemed unnecessary for medical purposes.

honestly, would you do it? what would you have done? what do you think of people who do have cosmetic surgery?

If i emailed my prof telling them that i had surgery, do i need to speifiy why? if i tell them is was cosmetic would it affect anything?

I’m a bit nervous about having cosmetic surgery in my local area. I’m thinking that if I were to get an operation abroad I could recover and recuperate away from work colleagues and friends. Also, I’ve read that I could save some money by getting my surgery done abroad. Does anybody have any personal experience?
